Our ward's "Trunk or Treat" was on Saturday night. We had so much fun with Colton and seeing him "learn" how to trick or treat. It did not take long for him to catch on and he was so proud of all of his candy. Of course he was also upset when we took it away from him too! (I think it'll make great incentives to use the potty)
This year we all had fun dressing up. Our theme was Curious George.
As most of you know, Colton LOVES the TV show. When his costume arrived last month I thought he would never take it off... He did though, and I was able to keep it safe. I wanted to buy Seth's costume but it was too pricey. So, thanks to Savers, the Websters and two long nights I was able to pull it off. I was pretty happy with it once it was done, but there were a few times (while making it) I really wished that I had bought it! Seth is the perfect "Man with the Yellow Hat" and I was pleased that Professor Wiseman was SO easy!
We had a great time, but were exhausted by the end! I said this last year, and I'll say it again: How do you parents with more than one child do this???? Seriously!
The best part is that we've got 3 more Halloween activities this week so our costumes will get put to good use!

OMG... I am trying not to wet my pants right now!!! Tell Seth he is such a good sport. I don't think I could have got Marc in that no matter how much I bribed him! You all look very cute!!!
You guys are the cutest Curious George family ever! I was laughing so hard at Seth-what a guy and Colton is so sweet as a little monkey! Don't you love when you get to utilize your Halloween costumes multiple times! :)
so cute...Seth was definetly yellow...my bubby will never dress up....that's awesome....happy halloween
You guys turned out so great! I'm jealous...I wish I would have gone with our family costume but I guess daddy was MIA so that wouldn't have worked...next year maybe. Hope yu make it tonight!!
i LOVE those costumes - can't get enough of it! So sad we missed the trunk or treat - well halloween because they don't do it out here! Oh well - Riley's first halloween will have to be next year! And when I need help with costumes i know who to go to :>
OMGZ that is totally AWESOME! colton sure loved that costume huh! you did a great job with seth's costume. you improvised and mixed and matched very well! i liked yours too..easy peasy easy breezy!
by the way...Seth will NEVER guess who we saw on sunday. ok maybe but he'll NEVER guess! we had to duck outta church after sacrament but fox was distracted by nursery's toy time (argh!). so we cut through the chapel because the next ward wasn't meeting until another half an hour and ta-da before us in the path is a half white half asian baby belonging to...MATT AND NAM GRAHAM!!! no lies dude.
When Cody and I pulled up to my parent's house and saw Seth dressed up, we were like, "What the?", but we quickly figured it out. Seth is totally the perfect Man in the Yellow Hat and Colton makes a very Curious George! Wish you could've been there Sunday.
very cute! I love seth in his yellow!! too funny!
I LOVE Seth's costume. That is such a great idea! I am not that creative to come up with a theme for all of us, but I love that you guys did! How fun to see pics of everyone there too. Happy Halloween!
OK, seriously, that is an AWESOME COSTUME! Wish I was there in person to see it! :)
I have to agree that Seth's yellow suit is pretty funny and he's a good sport! We thought about the same theme, but finding a yellow suit seemed to hard.
That is awesome!! Our trunk or treat is tonight so I will post all about it soon! We have to get together!!
Jeni
Absolutely adorable! Colton makes a great monkey - but did you really need a costume?
I love your costumes! And I am VERY impressed that you made most of Seth's! I am just too lazy to even want to think of dressing up myself - I just dress up the kid!
I love it!
That is too cute! Way to go!
I LOVE THE COSTUMES
I am still laughing at your halloween costumes. You guys are hilarious. Miss you guys and hope you're doing well. Only a few more months for ya---yay!
