Answered Prayers

Throughout the whole process of deciding on school, moving back to Arizona, being in school and now graduating without a job, we know that we are doing what we are supposed to be doing. There has never been a doubt that this is where we needed to be. Before coming to Thunderbird, we prayed and felt good about the decision and even though we didn't know how the economy was going to end up, Heavenly Father did. So, even now, without a job, there are no doubts.

The great thing is that we've come by this faith through many other past experiences. Deciding to serve a mission, where to go to school, if Seth/Becky was the right one to marry, moving to Toronto, etc... All of these decisions came from prayer and while they might not have been easy, we know we are much happier than we would have otherwise been. We've been able to have so many wonderful experiences that we would not have had without exercising faith in our Father in Heaven.

We are so excited for our friends that have found jobs. We know that we'll find a job too -- Heavenly Father will answer our prayers; in His own time and in His own way.

Hmmm... you guys sound like us! :) Everyone keeps asking us where we're going, when we're leaving Pgh ... we have NO idea yet! I think we might break a record of the family who stays the longest after graduation. :)

I totally agree. This whole process has been such a testimony strengthening experience for our family too. It's been hard, but I would never trade the lessons I've learned and my strong testimony of faith to have it easier. I know it will work out for you guys and it will work out for us too! We'll be praying for you guys!

Welcome to the club! :) Brent and I are both unemployed now, but we are learning so much from it. I know that we are going through this for a reason. It's the Lord's timing not ours. We'll keep you in our prayers! Your patience will be well rewarded.

I almost got a tear in my eye :) There's nothing closer to the truth than that. Even though Josh got a job pretty quick, there are other aspects in our life that constant prayer has been necessary...and waiting...we are still in that mode on a couple of things....good luck! we love you!

Now this is concerning the Train post: first of all Colton is freakin' adorable!!! What a handsome kid you've got there! And what fun that must have been. My Colton refers to Thomas the Train as "happy". We're not sure why...but what I wouldn't give to be inside the mind of a child! He does call him my Thomas too, just not sure where happy came from. But I love it! There's nothing more fun than watching your kids having fun! Cute pics, thanks for sharing!
