I have the best sister in the whole world! Today is her 29th B-day and I just wanted to tell her how much I love her! She serisouly is the best. In so many ways she is my "older" sister. I can't count how many times I have called her for advice -- Especially on motherhood! She is the best mom to her 4 kids. I love her so much and I'm always amazed at how she is able to balance everything so well and with a smile on her face! I'm so glad we're living in the same state again and can see each other more than 2 x's a year!
LOVE YOU EMILY - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Here you go Emily!
Twilight in HD
Ok, I know, two Twilight posts in two weeks, but this one is the actual trailer!
UPDATE: May 9th - Yes, I'm excited and apprehensive about this movie. I LOVED the books, but usually the movies don't portray it how I pictured it in my head. With that said, however, this preview actually looks a lot like what I was picturing when I was reading the books... I guess we'll see...

I'm Going to Miss This??
I'm trying really hard to enjoy everyday and moment with Colton. There's a country song I recently heard on the radio. The title is "You're Gonna Miss This" - it's pretty much about how we are always looking ahead and not enjoying where we're at. The chorus goes like this:
Elder Ballard also spoke about this during the most recent General Conference. He said, "... recognize that the joy of motherhood comes in moments. There will be hard times and frustrating times. But amid the challenges, there are shining moments of joy and satisfaction."
I TRULY believe that being a mom is the greatest calling in the world... BUT this post is about one of the challenges...
This morning I was in my bathroom putting in my contacts and Colton was playing in his room with his blocks. It took only 5 minutes. I came out and found Colton's diaper on the floor. I found Colton in the kitchen naked where he had just peed on the floor. When he saw me he got really excited and showed me his new trick. Now that the floor was "wet" he could slide on his belly! Yes, he was using his urine for a slip n'slide! So, since he was naked I just stuck him straight into the tub and cleaned him off. I left him in the tub so I could clean up the kitchen floor. After I got the floor all sanitized I went to get him out of the tub and to my surprise found that he had pooped in the bathtub! So I then had to run him into my bathroom for another BATH! It's a good thing I'm not pregnant yet or I would've thrown up a few different times this morning!
So, what do we do after all this? We go to the park with some friends because it's obvious that if we stay inside only bad things will happen! (Thanks Wendy and Xander for rescuing us from our bad morning!) After the park we took lunch to our husbands at school (who were busy studying for their last final!) Here's a picture that one of Seth's classmates took today. Colton loves his daddy!
(P.S. Today was Seth's last final of the semester - yes he has officially completed his first year! YEAH! Only one more to go! Oh and we're still waiting to hear back about internships so who knows where we'll be for the summer - we'll keep everyone posted!)
You're gonna miss this
You're gonna want this back
You're gonna wish these days
hadn't gone by so fast
These are some good times
So take a good look around
You may not know it now
But you're gonna miss this
